Plants on the Ground

Brian here. We figured it has been a little while since we've posted a house update. Things have been busy lately, to say the least. Our landscaping is coming together, and today the sod went in. But before the sod went in, we had the pleasure of waking up half the neighborhood at 7:45 to the sound of chainsaws, as the large pine tree in our backyard was taken down by a tree removal service. Sorry to everyone we woke up, and to our friends and neighbors who wanted to see the tree stay. ;)

Next up is the back deck,and then the laundry situation, and then the backyard, the side yard, and the kitchen, and the garage, and the street landscaping, and- you get the idea...Really, though, things are going well. It's so nice to have long days to play with, and being able to be home before dark means lots of cool sunsets this time of year. We're not sure how much of them Audrey can see, but we take her outside to enjoy them anyway, even if she's more concerned with her green beans and squash than anything else. Soon she'll have a nice big play area to roll around in, and that's great for all of us.
